Indirect emissions that are mostly from grid electricity and heating taken from supply companies are categorised under ‘Scope-2 Emissions’. A company has a partial control over scope- emissions.
Other Indirect Emissions that are from employees commuting, travel, water, upstream and downstream emissions are categorised under ‘Scope-3 Emissions’.
